Friday AM in New Orleans

Finally. Game day is here.
Travelling on deadline is sort of like an episode of The Twlight Zone.
Every day you wake up, the game it seems, is two day away.

You get in this little galaxy where all you are doing is working under deadline and not really paying
attention to anything else.
Sometimes tv sports people are the butt of jokes because they may not keep up with all that is going on the world.
But when you work under a deadline, out of town, you tend to put blinders on just to feed the beast that is TV news.
There is always a show coming up around the corner.,

Right now, the sun isn't up. We're doing live shots for WHNT NewsChannel 19 This Morning.

Looking forward to going home. Miss everyone.

Hope Bama wins but the Utah people are a classy bunch. If the Utes win, they will be an easy group to congratulate.
(For the opposite: See Miami Hurricanes. 1992 Season-1993 Sugar Bowl.)

Nothing really new on the Andre Smith situation.

Last night we worked till about 9...got a late dinner and were asleep at 10:30ish..back up at 4:30 to get here by
5am.

Miss everyone. Did I say that?

Later
